It is hard to know sometimes how our life has changed until we stop for a moment and look at how different it is from ten or even five years ago. In recent years social media, likely more than anything else, has significantly impacted most of our daily lives. Envisioning the global conversation that has developed over the past few years because of tools like Facebook and Twitter might have been unimaginable for most people at the beginning of this decade.
But social media communication tools have profoundly changed our lives and how we interact with one another and the world around us. Here are the top areas that social media has affected in our daily lives.
1. Where We Get Our News
If you’re like me, each morning before checking Yahoo! or Google News or an online newspaper site like USA Today or CNN, you first look at the stories your friends and people that you follow are sharing via Twitter or Facebook. After all, you didn’t choose the editors at newspapers and other publications, but you did choose the people and groups that you follow on Twitter, Facebook, or other social networks.
Friends on social media are increasingly becoming people’s trusted sources of information, even more than search engines. Tech blogger Mark Cuban recently noted, “For the 1st time ever, more people are finding my blog from Twitter and Facebook referrals than via Google
.”
Of course, many people still use RSS feeds to stay up-to-date on blogs and publications of interest, but our list of sources for what is worthy of our attention has expanded significantly. Furthermore, by getting our news from social media, we know who is recommending it, and can easily communicate with that person about it. News is more social than ever.
2. How We Start and Do Business
It is easier than ever to start and launch a business today, in great part thanks to social media. We can not only locate potential collaborators and employees through interest-focused Facebook groups, Twitter searches, and niche social networks, but perhaps more importantly, social media gives people who have time, but little money for advertising, the chance to engage with others and promote their business. A recent article in the New York Times concluded, “For many mom-and-pop shops with no ad budget, Twitter has become their sole means of marketing.”
While business in the past was generally conducted with those in one’s immediate environment, social media, including everything from blogging to tweeting to posting videos on YouTube, has opened new possibilities for both customers and clients. Who we do business with and how we promote that business has moved increasingly online, and for small business especially, social media has proved valuable.
3. How We Meet and Stay in Touch with People
People certainly still meet others at social venues like clubs and parties, but it is easier than ever to discover people who share our interests through social media, whether that means via groups on Facebook or following people on Twitter. Even if your interests lie in an obscure area, like 15th century poetry in France or Nepalese art, there is probably a Facebook group about it, and a Twitter search will likely turn up other people talking about the same subject.
Of course, there is only so much communication that can happen through a social network, but viaTweetups and other in-person events, people are expanding these online interactions to face-to-face meetings. The introductions are initially made through social networks, then people develop the relationship using phone calls and in-person meetings.
Studies reveal that our time on social networks has nearly tripled in the last year, and while Facebook has always primarily centered around connecting with people and staying in touch with friends, according to a study on eMarketer, “41.6% percent of Internet users who used Twitter did so to keep in touch with their friends.”
In other words, social media is increasingly being used to find and maintain both old and potentially new friendships.
4. What We Reveal
The old paradigm in communication was that people generally revealed very little of their fears and doubts. They tried to present the image of themselves to other people as completely confident and knowledgeable. The goal was to make sure that you appeared like you were always in complete control. But this is shifting, in part, because of social media. The paradigm is now no longer to try to appear perfect, but to be more transparent with your thoughts and feelings, to reveal your humanness.
We now have queens acknowledging that they get nervous at times when speaking, CEOs being more honest and at times using blogs to express reservations over past decisions, and people openly sharing personal views on social issues. Of course, what we decide to reveal and when to reveal it can be delicate, and there will always likely be items we wish to keep private. However, rather than working to hide our thoughts and feelings, social media is helping to create greater personal transparency.
5. What We Can Influence
It used to be a big deal that Oprah had over 20 million people watch her show every week or that the New York Times was read by millions of people, and while these large media outlets still control much of our attention, now with social media, power is increasingly more widespread. So-called mainstream media is no longer always the driving influencer of public opinion.
On Twitter, some individuals now have a million or more followers, Facebook Pages can also have hundreds of thousands of fans, and YouTube videos can get millions of views when they go viral. Most of this content is coming from regular people, rather than big, corporate-owned media organizations. For example, people like occasional Mashable guest writer Brandon Mendelson, who has over950,000 followers on Twitter, have used social media to increase their influence beyond what was possible for “regular people” in the past.
Even if we have few followers on Twitter or friends on Facebook or subscribers to our blog, the average person’s influence is increasing as communication channels become more open and fluid. As the networks for sharing and amplifying information strengthen, the ability of each person to influence public opinion and policies increases. As a result, we feel much less like passive bystanders and much more like participants who have a voice in the events in our world.
Conclusion
In every era, cultures go through numerous changes, and in recent years ours has been more impacted than anything else by social media. Large media companies are not likely to go away overnight, nor will the need to communicate by phone or meet people in person, but social media is providing yet one more means of engaging with people on this vast planet of ours, and if used effectively can give all of us greater choice in how we live and what happens in our world.

None of us think one day that there are Creatures like that but when i was doing my
daily search i found it :) .
Some Indonesian, Japanese researchers have discovered another coelacanth, an ancient fish once thought to have become extinct, in Indonesian waters.
But the big surprise is the fish is still alive and freely swims in its habitat at a
depth of 155 meters off North Sulawesi Island.
after i saw this article i become crazy to know how this fish looks like
and i founds this :D..

I am a Warrior
Within each one of us there is a warrior waiting to be unleashed, most of us get the same idea when we say the word warrior, it became a popular commodity representing famous action figures and wide screen heroes but, we never think about what that specific word means and the idea that could change our lives radically, the idea that we are all nothing less than warriors.
We grew up on tales of heroes and great leaders who gave every thing including their own lives for a great cause, some of us witnessed war, death, fear, courage and epics, some of us are heroes by the common meaning of the word, army men, police men, front line soldiers or extraordinary people who did magnificent deeds.
We all appreciate and admire those warriors who fought for what they believed in and didn't back up and never surrendered, the ones we hope our children would be as great or even close in a way or another but, that doesn't mean that a warrior's place can only be a warfare battlefield, in fact we are all warriors and we all have our battlefields, doctors and scientists fight diseases every single day, teachers and professors fight ignorance every single day and many examples that tends to infinity.
I believe that you don't have to be a soldier, a teacher, a doctor, or a politician to be a warrior, deep inside every one there is a warrior fighting every day, the battlefields may vary but, still they are all battlefields.
A warrior is the real definition of sacrifice and ever lasting immortality, a warrior is a creature defined by higher laws and codes, driven by his passion to a cause, distinguished among others by his devotion and loyalty to that cause and by his ability to go on and never give up.
Every one of us is a warrior as long as he believes in his cause, his sword is his devotion and commitment, his spear is his knowledge and wisdom, his armor is his hope and faith, his shield is his unbreakable determination and his cause is his home to die for, the one that he believes that struggling for is a great virtue, a virtue fit for saints and kings, a virtue worth fighting for.
I encourage every one to awake the warrior within, you are already in the fight, so get up and make your stand, be noticed, be recognized, be remembered and be for ever alive in the eyes of those who witnessed your fight, be for all times the true figure of a warrior.
Fight for what is right, for what is beautiful, for what is great and for what is important, fight for yourself and for your loved ones, fight your bad habits, fight smoking, fight your addiction, fight your greed, fight your dark side and let your inner light prevail, help yourself and others who need help, break your limits, fight for the weak and the needy as certainly some day others will fight for you.
So that you can say " I am a warrior"

CHIBA, Japan--Want to request a song from a creepy childlike automaton? There's an app for that.
During the demonstration , audience members were encouraged to use their iPhones to request one of six songs from the raven-haired robot, decked out in futuristic stormtrooper gear. The winning track is titled "Give Me Wings."
The HRP-4C was featured as part of Yamaha's Play IT initiative, which explores ways to incorporate music and information technology to teach and learn musical instruments. Check out the short clip of her performance below.

5 Reasons Why People Believe They Can Become A Blog Star
When we were Young we had a lot of dreams about our career lifes many said that he want to be a movie star others may wish to be a famous singer and some may have the traditional Dreams like to become a doctor ,engineering bla bla bla .
None of us think that one day he like to Become a blog star.
What is the difference between becoming a movie star and a blog star? Why do rational adults, who quietly snicker at somebody striving to be a movie star, strive at being a blog star? They write posts, promote, take a few ‘how to blog’ courses, all in the attempt of being a successful blogger.
Most of the blogger fails in the First 6 months because they can't cover the Costs of the web host service .
But here we are with a rational fact that no one can deny that wanting to be a movie star is crazy. But wanting to be a blog star is not. This is strange. Why is the notion of becoming a movie star absurd while becoming a blog star rational? Here a the reason why you, a rational adult, might believe that one day you can become a blog star.
Because am newly blogger :) i become to search and found in a site named dailyblogtips 5 reason why people believe they can become blog stars .
1) No Barrier To Entry
You cannot wake up one day and say, “today I am going to be a movie star.” You need an agent, you need to take acting lessons, you need to be able to make people cry, you need to get a role in a movie, you need to move to Hollywood and in most cases you need to look good. So much work and so many possible points of failure – one barrier after another.
But, you can wake up tomorrow and be a blogger. Get out of bed and turn on the computer. Go to wordpress.com download a free blog template and start making posts. Before breakfast, still in your pajamas, you have become a blogger. It is so easy.
2) No Special Talent Required
To be a movie star requires talent. Remember high school drama class? There is always that one student who stands out above the rest. He can turn a room of gum chewing, giggling, restless students into a silent and focused audience as they watch him recite, “To be or not to be…”. He has talent – student most likely to be a movie star.
Do you now how to turn on a computer? Do you know how to read and write? If you do then you can be a blogger. All you got to do is write some interesting content everyday. You have everything it takes to be a great blogger. No special talent required.
3) No Instant Rejection
Watch an episode of American Idol. The candidates want to be stars. Before they walk on the stag and perform they believe in their dream of being a star. Then they perform. And in most cases with either an awkward smile or a tear in the eye they get a big dose of rejection. Dream shattered and a direct flight back to reality.
The blogosphere does not provide rejection. Nobody will tell you that you suck. Even after 1 year of blogging you can still think your blog is great – that you have a chance of success. Your 3 loyal followers (mother, uncle, co-worker) are always praising your blog posts. They tell you the reason your blog has not took off is because of some outside factor – need more promotion, change the color of the text, add a RSS feed etc. Nobody will strike you down with a big fat rejection – your blog sucks, you have no talent, quit wasting your time. Booo.
4) You Can Be A Blogger On The Weekends
To become a movie star means devoting your life to it. You need to become a starving artist. Buy a wool sweeter and scarf, never have any money, spend your days at coffee shops drinking tea and nibbling on biscuits, discussing Sir Author Dumenhouwer’s riveting performance of Cyrano de Bergerac.
Want to be a blogger: No need to quit your day job. No need to cancel your Wednesday nights at the pub with friends. All you need to do is devote a couple of hours on the weekend to your blog. Six days out of the week you are who you are, on Sundays you sit at the computer and write a post.
5) It Is Not A Cliche For The Foolish Endeavor
If someone tells you that they want to be a movie star it means one thing – they have no grasp of reality. The cliche is a 18 year old girl who moves to Hollywood thinking that she will become a star. She believes that because she has talent and knows how to work hard she will get noticed and in no time be on the big screen screen with Brad Pitt. A Car runs on compressed air
London: «Middle East» The inventor of the Australian city of Melbourne, Australia, mentioned that he built the first world car-making business on compressed air. Will be the experience of the car from the contractors in the city's parks and squares during the next 12 months as an alternative to ordinary cars that run on diesel or motor oil. The PeC Review: Google Affiliate Network is an Effective Marketing Tool
Affiliate network marketing offers online retailers an effective, performance-based advertising channel with good conversion rates and a propensity to boosts sales. Like many affiliate programs, the Google Affiliate Network connects merchants with a network of website publishers.
Affiliate publishers place text or banner advertising on their site. If a would-be customer (1) clicks on one of these ads, (2) visits the merchant's site, and (3) makes a purchase, the merchant pays the affiliate (who sent the customer) a percentage of the sale. No money changes hands unless the merchant closes the sale. So, most merchants can easily afford to be part of an affiliate program.
The Google Affiliate Network makes this connection easy by providing an effective interface (which is similar to the Google AdWords interface) that will help merchants improve their sales. But the service requires a relatively large upfront fee (discussed below) and Google is particular about the sorts of merchants it will accept, preferring those with large sales volume. If only the Google Affiliate Network had taken the same egalitarian and pay-as-you-go approach that has made AdWords successful, it would be nearly perfect. As it provides a lot of value to its customers, however, I am awarding the Google Affiliate Network four out of a possible five stars
An Affiliate Model, Google's Way
In 2008, Google made a $3.1 billion investment in affiliate marketing and advertising service when it purchased DoubleClick, one of the early pioneers in advertising measurement services, ad serving, and affiliate marketing.
"With DoubleClick, Google now has the leading display ad platform, which will enable us to rapidly bring to market advances in technology and infrastructure that will dramatically improve the effectiveness, measurability and performance of digital media for publishers, advertisers and agencies, while improving the relevance of advertising for users," said Google Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Eric Schmidt, when the deal was consummated.
Google was quick to integrate the service, and by July 2008 had rebranded the service, introduced an improved interface, and used its impressive AdSense network to find excellent affiliate publishers. For me, Google's best value proposition is its familiarity with pay-per-click advertising. It is assumed that if Google applies its considerable AdSense experience to identifying and recruiting affiliates, it can offer online retailers almost unmatched access to targeted sites and therefore to potential customers.
While Google does not disclose average conversion rates for the program, a spokesperson told me that because "affiliate publishers tend to be focused on consumers who are in the shopping mode," conversion rates tend to be better than other digital advertising channels. And remember, there is no cost (other than a set up fee) to merchants unless they make a sale.
A Selective Approval Process
Google requires merchants to apply to the Affiliate Network, asking for annual sales estimates and average order size. Perhaps as an indication of its propensity for selecting large-volume retailers, Google lumps $0-to-$500,000 in annual online sales together as its lowest annual sales category, and offers additional categories up to more than $50 million in annual online sales. To be considered for approval, merchants must first be interviewed by a Google representative.
The selective approval process is designed to protect the affiliate publishers. In order to get its ads on the best possible websites, Google is careful to offer only quality products from quality merchants.
$1,000 Service Fee, Deposits, and Monthly Minimums Make Google Affiliate Networks Expensive
Once an ecommerce merchant is approved for the service, that merchant will have to pay a nonrefundable $1,000 fee to set up an account. The merchant must also make an initial deposit of $1,000 to cover forthcoming affiliate fees, the payments made to publishers when they provide click-throughs that result in paying customers.
Thus, joining the Google Affiliate Network will cost a merchant at least $2,000 up front, and $1,000 of that does not apply to generating sales. Once the merchant is up and running there is a $500 per month minimum, so it becomes very important to help affiliate publishers succeed, providing them with good offers, great creative copy, and any additional help possible. While I consider these initial costs a bit of a burden, they are competitive with other affiliate services.
Summing Up
The Google Affiliate Network offers online stores access to thousands of excellent web publishers on a pay-for-performance basis that can be very cost effective. But, the service is primarily aimed at higher revenue online stores and requires a $2,000 initial outlay. Although I would have preferred it if Google offered a self-service, pay-as-you-go option for smaller merchants, the Google Affiliate Network is still well worth four out of five stars in this The PeC Review.

There seem to be no escape from seeing and here or there, calculating the percentage of actually seeing an ad during your every day routines, you would find that the numbers hit the roof and that’s just for starters; the accurate numbers are very wild and unbelievable.
What are the odds of accidentally browsing a web page without finding a single ad? I find that impossible to happen and very unlikely. It’s like a one in a million shot, regardless that heavy internet users may browse hundreds of pages a day and in some cases it could be thousands.

In my personal opinion the very seed of online success is BLOGGING; as it will give you the experience you would need to start expanding, I now encourage every and each internet user or online browser to stop being only a receiver and start leaving their foot mark the way they prefer.
